than using off-branded oil. This way there is lesser chance of wear and tear or wearing off.
Pennzoil and Valvoline are some of the premier brands of motor oil that can be used in as your
motor oil. They last long and also helps function better without any breakups while driving.
Such branded motor oil may cost you, but they last longer and perform better. Use the weight oil
SAE 10W30, if you are going to change motor oil before the winter months. This way your car
will remain safe and prepared for the winter months ahead. The engine will start quicker and
smoother with a 10-weight viscosity. Finally it will thicken to 30-weight viscosity that helps the
engine to warm up quicker during the winter months.
Here are the three steps to drain and change your old motor oil. Draining the old oil is the
primary step. Find the oil-drain plug and put a container beneath it to catch the oil. After that the
oil plug must be removed. Once the oil has stopped draining, the drain plug must be reinstalled
again. Turn it clock wise in order to drain replace your drain plug.
Replacing the oil filter is the next step. Removing the oil can and the oil filters. Put some oil with
your finger on the filter to tighten the seal. Finally feed your motor with new oil. Replace the
